Important Poker Terms (5)
It can be tough to decipher the articles aimed at helping you win in casinos for USA players, so I will keep going through the poker dictionary for you. In reality, there are so many poker terms that even certain pros don’t know all the definitions!
My next term is “Mexican Bankroll”, a stack of cash with $100 bills on the top and bottom but only $1 bills in between. I know that this term won’t really help you crush the games on your Bwin Poker download, but it was a term I didn’t know the before today, so I had to include it!
The next poker phrase I want to define is the “nuts”. If you are playing cash games on Tiger Gaming and you have the nuts, it means that you have the strongest hand possible. You should always remember that if someone makes a better hand than yours on a subsequent street, then you no longer have the nuts. For instance, QQ is the nuts on a Q45 flop, but if the turn is a 6, it is no longer the nuts.
Any basic poker video regarding Hold’em usually tells new players that they do not want to be “outkicked” at show down. It is important to strive for the highest kicker possible because the kicker is the tie breaker if two players have the same pair. If you have AQ and you flop a pair of aces, the queen in your hand is your kicker.
The term I will define next is “polarized range”. If you are playing tournaments on an Everest Poker download and you have a polarized range in a situation, it means that your hand is either incredibly strong or extremely weak.
I recently made a slot machine download and tried my hand at slots, but I found that they weren’t even close to as exciting as playing poker. Poker is a great game because while there is a lot of luck involved, there is also quite a bit of skill. My earlier articles should help you get started, and then be sure to check back in a month for another key terms update.

Important Poker Terms 4
Nice to see you again! Today I will define more terms that will matter as you strive to beat the games in casinos for USA players. I have to say that I am really liking this alphabetical theme a lot. If nothing else it prevents me from agonizing over the vast number of choices in the poker dictionary.
For the letter “I” let’s define ICM, which is an acronym for Independent Chip Model. If you play sit & gos on Tiger Gaming, it is mandatory that you know ICM. When there are less than 10 players remaining in a tourney, ICM gives your chips a cash value and helps you make optimal decisions.
The letter J does not have a lot of variety when it comes to poker terms, so let’s just quickly look at “jam”. If you get your hands on a helpful poker video and the instructor says he likes a jam, he is saying that he likes going all-in. ”Shove” and “push” both have the same meaning.
The next word I will mention is “kill”. If you decide to play live poker instead of Craps online one night, one of your options will probably be a kill game. When someone wins two pots in a row, they are required to pay an extra blind the next hand. A half kill requires just 1.5 times the big blind while a full kill is 2 times the big blind. Passive players that lose a lot of money on US poker sites are bound to prefer kill tables because they can stifle hyper-aggression.
When someone calls, raises, or bets “light”, they are doing it with a hand that is relatively weak. Pretend that you are playing on your Bwin Poker download and you receive 92 in the small blind. A player that opens frequently in late position pops it up on the button, and you make a 3-bet since you know he is usually raising a wide range here. He is likely raising light in his position, and you are 3-betting light in return. These spots are common on money poker sites.
Well that was my last term for this entry. In a few weeks I will get started again with the letter M. In the meantime, get some experience at the tables. Full Tilt is a good site if you want somewhere new to play. Full Tilt Poker是世界上最大的在线扑克平台之一,马上到我们的Full Tilt Poker下载页面,和世界各地的扑克高手在线切磋。

Important Poker Terms 3
Today I am going to continue with poker phrases you would benefit from learning if you sit at tables in casinos for USA players. In September I finished off with a phrase that started with D.
Whether you prefer tourneys or cash games on the best Euro poker sites, it would be wise to learn about “effective stacks”. When two players are in a pot, the most either can wager is the total in the shortest stack. The shorter stack is the effective stack. For example, if Player A has 2,000 chips but Player B only has 1,500, the effective stack is 1,500.
For the letter F I chose the term “flip”, something that can occur when friends get together for friendly games on their Titanpoker download. When players agree to flip, they are promising to go all-in with any two cards. The term flip also has another definition: a “coin flip” is when you have 50/50 odds in a hand. For instance, if you are playing a tournament on Tiger Gaming and you get it all-in preflop with QQ vs AK, this is a flip situation since your equity in the hand is around 50%.
I thought “gutshot” was a good word to pick for the next letter. A gutshot is any straight draw with just 4 outs. Let’s say you choose to play poker rather than clear your Bingo bonus and get dealt 78 in late position. You open limp on the button and the flop comes 59K. The straight draw you have is called a gutshot because you only have a straight when a particular card comes, which usually means you have just 4 outs. This is also known as an inside straight draw.
You might have heard people talk about their “hero fold”, which is our H term. Making a hero fold means that you made a tough fold with a strong hand. Pretend that you are in a cash game on one of the best Mac poker sites and get into a hand with a player that hasn’t raised once over a huge sample size. You receive 23s blind versus blind and flop a flush, but instead of just calling your bet, your passive opponent raises. Folding this hand following one raise is a clear example of a hero fold. At first these hands will seem unfair, but unlike a free slots download, poker is a thinking game and sometimes big laydowns are necessary.
That’s it for me today, but I will be sure to continue on when I come back in November. Between now and then, hopefully you play a ton of hands. PokerStars is a good choice if you are looking to sign up with a new site. ¡Aprende de los profesionales y mejora tus habilidades, todo con solo descargar PokerStars!

Important Poker Terms 2
A few months ago I wrote about some important poker terms that you might want to know as you are striving to improve your game in US poker rooms. I am going to do the same thing for my next few articles. To entertain myself, I will go in alphabetical order and pick one word for each letter. Hopefully these next few entries help you out.
To start off, let’s go over the meaning of “ante”. This is a very important word for those that play a lot of tournaments on a PokerStars download. An ante is a bet that all players must make before they receive hands before the flop. The ante is usually around a tenth of the big blind, although it can be more or less depending on the game.
You will already know what a “bluff” is if you watch poker on TV. When you bet or raise in a way that causes your hand to look stronger than it actually is, you are bluffing. Doing this can make players fold hands that are better than yours. If you want to see a bluff in action, you probably just need to watch Daniels Room poker on PokerStars for a couple minutes since it is a key part of high stakes poker.
For the letter C, let’s look at “chip dumping”, something that your poker site should be looking out for if it is one of the top Texas Hold'em sites online. Chip dumping is defined as losing chips to someone else on purpose. People will do this to share chips in a tournament, for example, but the seriousness of the situation becomes apparent when you consider that chip dumping can also be used for money laundering. Now you know why the best US poker sites want their security team looking out for suspicious activity on the virtual felt.
When you are studying on free poker training sites, you might come across the term “dirty outs”. You have a situation of dirty outs when cards that improve your hand improve an opponent’s hand even more. For example, pretend you are grinding ring games to earn the bonus you got with your Titanpoker bonus code and flop a straight draw on a board with two hearts. If you make your straight when a third heart comes out, this out could be dirty because someone that had a flush draw has a hand that beats your new straight.
That is it for today, but I will be back sometime in October. Before the next time we meet, be sure to find some literature or watch some videos on beating US poker sites. Good luck at the tables!

Poker Training Sites: SitnGo Grinders
My next entry is here to tell you about a training site that specializes in Sit-n-Go (SNG) tournaments. Rather than start at a scheduled time, SNGs wait until they have a certain number of participants before starting. For example, players can elect to enter a 9 player SNG, and when the tournament has received 9 participants, it starts. Most SNGs have one or two tables, but they can also be heads-up or over 20 tables. Most US poker rooms have SNGs available.
SitnGoGrinders.com concentrates on SNG strategy. Because SNGs always have a set number of players along with rigid payout structures, they play differently from regular tournaments. You’ll learn some important tips on SitnGo Grinders from their videos and articles, and the people that make the videos or write the articles have had great success with poker. While you won’t find free poker training here, you’ll still probably find the membership fee a bargain. They have chosen to avoid registration fees, and the cost per month is around $20. You’ll get the best deal if you pay for a year in advance as you’ll pay $10.75/month for the first year and then $10 for subsequent months.
SitnGo Grinders is a relatively new training site, so their video catalog hasn’t reached the size of some of the larger sites out there. They are currently releasing around a video per day, so their video selection will continue to grow. I doubt you’ll be disappointed with the selection right off the bat, anyway. You’ll find hundreds of videos for both 6 max and multi-table SNGs, all played on money poker sites. There are close to a hundred videos for full ring and heads-up games, which is less than the other categories but actually not bad if you think about it.
A large percentage of the instructors grind on PokerStars, the room that features Daniels Room poker. These players really took advantage of the PokerStars bonus code and VIP program because almost all of them are either Supernova or Supernova Elite players. This proves that they spend countless hours grinding SNGs, which makes sense due to the site’s name! You’ll find that the videos feature all sorts of buy-ins so that both beginners and veterans can benefit from the site.
If you’re a cash game player on a Bwin Poker download, you will not find anything useful on this site. There aren’t any regular multi-table tournament videos either, although you might still find the site useful for learning MTT endgame. While SitnGoGrinders.com isn’t the first choice for those that like variety, it’s still an excellent site given its prices. This site is a must have for any player looking to make SNGs their game of choice.
