Important Poker Terms (5)
It can be tough to decipher the articles aimed at helping you win in casinos for USA players, so I will keep going through the poker dictionary for you. In reality, there are so many poker terms that even certain pros don’t know all the definitions!
My next term is “Mexican Bankroll”, a stack of cash with $100 bills on the top and bottom but only $1 bills in between. I know that this term won’t really help you crush the games on your Bwin Poker download, but it was a term I didn’t know the before today, so I had to include it!
The next poker phrase I want to define is the “nuts”. If you are playing cash games on Tiger Gaming and you have the nuts, it means that you have the strongest hand possible. You should always remember that if someone makes a better hand than yours on a subsequent street, then you no longer have the nuts. For instance, QQ is the nuts on a Q45 flop, but if the turn is a 6, it is no longer the nuts.
Any basic poker video regarding Hold’em usually tells new players that they do not want to be “outkicked” at show down. It is important to strive for the highest kicker possible because the kicker is the tie breaker if two players have the same pair. If you have AQ and you flop a pair of aces, the queen in your hand is your kicker.
The term I will define next is “polarized range”. If you are playing tournaments on an Everest Poker download and you have a polarized range in a situation, it means that your hand is either incredibly strong or extremely weak.
I recently made a slot machine download and tried my hand at slots, but I found that they weren’t even close to as exciting as playing poker. Poker is a great game because while there is a lot of luck involved, there is also quite a bit of skill. My earlier articles should help you get started, and then be sure to check back in a month for another key terms update.
